QuickFire Challenge

Quick Fire Challenge: Acrostic Photography

You will have 30 minutes to complete and submit.

  1. Take pictures of things that represent each letter of your first name, which describe you. (accommodations: find pictures online or draw pictures)
  2. Upload images onto one slide in Google Presentations.
  3. Share with the teacher.
  4. The teacher will share finished product via LCD projector with the class.
  5. Students will guess the name as a means of introduction at the beginning of the year.

  1. This is a GREAT idea! Do you mind if I use this in a workshop I am presenting to Spanish teachers next week? Were you planning to create a presentation (perhaps with a single slide containing your instructions and a second slide showing an example) and then have each student add their slide to it, or were you thinking each student would create separate slides and share them with you?

    You did a beautiful job on the instructions for this Quickfire. One of the things I have learned in working with student teachers is that if I can get them to limit their instructions to no more than 5 steps, with no more than 7-10 words in each step, students have MUCH more success with their activities across subject areas. Nice job!
